5. What is the most romantic thing you have done on a first date? Silly and old fashion as it sounds, the date itself was nothing more than a dinner and a movie and us going out to the lake to talk. We ended up talking and watching the sun come up.

Bonus (as in optional):Describe the best date you have ever been on. Luckily, this happens to be the first date I went on with da Missus, so me telling about it will not get me in trouble with her. After chatting online for 6 months, we met in a hotel room in Little Rock. We went to the Zoo and out to eat a couple of time. Yes, the bulk of the weekend was spent having sex, but even during the non sex parts was the best times I have ever spent with someone. Of course, the trip to the Zoo was hilarious. The people wandering around the zoo were MUCH more entertaining than the animals. There are some FUNNY LOOKING PEOPLE in Little Rock Arkansas.

Thoughts …

I love racquetball. I truly love the game. I love the speed of it. The intensity of it. The whole game. I love the one on one aspect of it.

However, It is next to impossible for me to find someone to play the game with. It took me forever to figure out why.

I looked over the whole situation and finally figured it out.

You see, I would find a partner to play racquetball for a while, but in time, due to one reason or another they would stop being able to play with me. A lot of times it had to do with their schedule, dating / significant other, kids, work or what have you. But then I would see them at the court, again, but they would be playing sets with someone else.

As I look back it is all so clear.

I SUCK at racquetball!!!! WOW, that was easy. I mean, who wants to play the game with someone who does not know what they are doing? The game is not any fun at that point. You might as well just go onto the court and smash the ball around to yourself than play with someone who has no clue, tight????

So now I have to decide what to do.

Wet Wednesday….En Mass

1. how thin is TOO thin for you in a lover? is it someone like kate bosworth, posh spice, or mark anthony? It’s Funny, what I look at versus what I chase. I think Nicole Kidman is the hottest thing in the world to look at, but to actual be with, I like them to be on the plump side.
2. how ‘large’ is too big for you in a lover? (i’m not going to list any names as terms like large, overweight, and big are all part of individual taste - but feel free to list celeb names, etc.) I have no clue, so much of the turn on is attitude.

3. if you were to get a new lover and this weekend was your first time having sex with them. how would you feel about them seeing you nude? is a look in the mirror in the buff cringe-worthy, or are you lookin’ pretty damn good? ww#40 … emotional.

as a family member of a paranoid schizophrenic, please note that i am not calling anyone ‘crazy’ or demeaning them by talking about mental illness or physical disability in this week’s ww. i’ve lived through the pain of mental illness, as well as experienced its immeasurable joys…

1. have you ever dated someone or had a lover who had an emotional or mental disorder? how did that work out? if you haven’t dated anyone with an emotional/mental disorder, would you? I think that EVERYONE I have dated has had an emotional disorder.

2. have you ever dated someone/took a lover who had a physical disability? what, if anything, did you do differently to accommodate them sexually? if you have never dated anyone with a physical disability, would you? (remember - we’re not judging; some people are unable to handle a lover with a disability, and that’s a personal choice!) I am married to someone with a physical disorder. Fibromyalgia. Only thing it has done is limit contact at times.

3. do you have mood swings (hormonal or otherwise) that affect your relationship? if not, have you dated someone who "swung pretty hard"? Oh hell yes. I can be seriously moody. I try to keep t in check but that just makes everyone around me know I am in a bad mood because I am so quiet. And once again, I think nearly everyone I have dated has had serious mood swings. Maybe I attrat them. Who knows????

1. i was looking at the responses to a question on popsugar.com, where 90% of women had never had a one-night stand. have you ever had a one-night stand? did you see that person again? Yes, I have. And we saw each other socially for a whiule and never could get the timing right to hook up again.

2. what is the strangest or non-traditional place you’ve had sex? Middle of a collage stadium football field or Joe Poole lake in the middle of a Saturday afternnon on a holiday weekend. LOTS of people around.

Random Thoughts … Getting on Thought Provoking on Ya’ll

I know I should not do this, but I am going to talk on something i have no first hand knowledge of, and will probably never get the first hand knowledge of. Oh well.
Currently on CBS, there is a show called “Kid Nation”. And what the network has done, is dropped 40 or so children, ages 8-15 in a deserted town to create the own “Nation.” They make the rules.

Needless to say people are absolutely SHOCK at the things that are going on. On of the girls refuses to work due to the fact that she has never had to work in the real world. One of the girls has decided that she does not make enough “money” in her “job”, so she is now dancing in the streets to earn money.

This is entertainment? This is what people are watching? This is supposed to be shocking?

And I heard people talking at work about this show…. “Can you believe children are acting like that???”

A little girl who has never had to work and now is not working and is telling the world to “Deal with it”

A little girl who is not making enough money so she starts dancing on the streets for more

Sounds like one is Paris Hilton and the other is 90% of the prostitutes out there to me.

I guess the thing that really fascinates me is that how people are shocked by what is going on. Do they not read the papers everyday? Do they not see that these children are doing the same things that every one of us do and see in real life?

Anyone out there ever HEARD of Lord of the Flies by William Golding? If not, here is a quick plot synopsis. It does not do ANY justice to the actual novel. Bunch of British Kids get shot down during the war and are stranded on an island with no adults. They decide to make a great land of their own. A land nothing like the one they just left. Soon everything falls apart as there are power struggles, outside agendas and reality set in. Everything falls apart from the perfect little world they were going to set up.
(UPI ARTICLE) A psychologist (Dr Greg Steinberg) states about the show “"Children do not have the cognitive abilities to grasp discipline, hard work, and integrity," Steinberg said in a statement.”Without parents to guide them down the right path, we would see tragic consequences with bullying turning into more savagery and lack of discipline turning into to utter chaos." (Continued from the UPI article) If the adults disappeared and the reality show experiment continued, the results could be as stark and violent as the conclusion of William Golding’s book.
To me, it sounds like the results are already happening. Dr Steinberg, I have to ask, do you or have you ever actually worked in an office setting? Do you ever go outside your office and see the real world? These kids are already doing what happens everyday. Not enough money? Go dance on the street. Have a privileged life? Don’t want to work; no one can make you and you really don’t have to. This is sadly what has become of our world.
"Children do not have the cognitive abilities to grasp discipline, hard work, and integrity," Who says that the parents have this ability either?

”Without parents to guide them down the right path, we would see tragic consequences with bullying turning into more savagery and lack of discipline turning into to utter chaos." Dr. Steinberg, I am sorry sir, you need to walk into the streets of reality. These tragic consequences have already happened.
