Code Name D.A.D. … Defeat Anger Daily

So I am with da Twinsies at the local Meglo Hardware store, and they are acting like…..Well like typical hyper 5 yr olds.

I finally turn to them and give out one of my all time idle THREATS…"Igf ya’ll don’t behave, I am going to trade ya’ll for a warm beer and half a pack of cigarettes!!!!!"

 da Boy looks at me and says, "Don’t you think you have had enough beer????"

I swear, I have not had any beer in this house for weeks!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone around us was VERY amused.

We then went out to a paint ball field. This is the type of paint ball know as "SpeedBall". It is in a contained area and moves very fast. The place we went had an elevated seating area and I took the kids up there for a better view. Well, as the first game ended, they got bored and then decided that it was too high up and that they were scared. Soon, a new game started and he decided that he wanted to go back up to the elevated viewing area. I asked him if he would get scared again.

I was informed (BY A FIVE YEAR OLD) "Daddy, I need to face my fears if I am to get over them. Let’s go up there"

A 5 yr old??? FACING HIS FEARS??? When did my babies get so big??? 

"Never buy a $500 saddle for a $50 horse" … Unknown.

So I have taken up the game of paintball. Much fun. Good compannionship. Great way to work out frustrations.

However…..

It can be EXPENSIVE. Luckily, I was able to buy my gun for next to nothing. $30 for the GUN!!!!!! AWSOME!!!!!!

And then a friend bought me a sight for it…..($30)

And then I got a new airtank ($40)

And then I got a new airhose ($35)

And now I am looking for a new Barrel ($20 to $350)

And I need a…..And I also Need some….And then there is THAT…..Gotta have THAT!!!!!!

I figure if the funds line up just right, I will have $1,000 wrapped up in that $30 gun by the end of the year!!!!!!
